Retreat March 2011

All About Sewing's first Sewing Retreat was on the weekend. 22 of us spent the weekend from Friday afternoon to Sunday Afternoon at Rafferty's Resort. We had a great time. I'm sure everyone would agree with me and say that the food was Fantastic. We ate like kings all weekend. I can honestly say all we did was eat and sew, eat and sew. (and talk) Next year is all ready booked. Same weekend, Last weekend of March. Very impressed with Rafferty's. All the staff were very professional and looked after as. Lyn and Meryl deep in thought. Lyn Colley organised some trivia competitions otherwise we would of been zombie's by Sunday afternoon. Some of our Tuesday ladies came with us. Thanks girls for making our weekend so wonderful.

On Saturday morning our machine Embroidery Ladies did a workshop on there software. Using only there computers they designed there cover for a folder. In the afternoon they stitched out there masterpiece and then sewed up there folders.

Thanks Mum and Gail for helping me Saturday while I was doing the workshop. I really don't no what I would do without both of you.

And a BIG thank you to Lyn Colley for organising everything. It was a great weekend. You should be proud.
