Lovely weekend

I had a lovely weekend sewing.
Saturday we held the modern quilt guild in the shop. We had a few new members attend and everyone started sewing blocks for a charity quilt for our next charity day. I love having all those ladies in the shop, they are so nice.
Deb from Down Under Quilts joined the group and it was nice to have Jan Foster back.
I finished one of my quilts on Sunday
In between housework and shopping.
It is a new pattern I sell
In the shop. Really easy to read.
I wonder what this week will bring.

Nearly August "already"

I know I keep saying this but this year is just going to fast... I wish it would slow down... My nan say's I should be careful what I wish for because before I know it I'll be her age and when you can only sit at home all day the time goes by sooo slow...
I've put it down to just loving what I do...
Anyway lot's of things on the go at the moment.. as usual
Anita goodesign quilt coming along nicely.. And finished a cute little quilt top ready to now be quilted...
Both patterns available for the shop.
Better get back to it..

Georgia's year 12 project

Today I had the pleasure to help Georgia with her year 12 project..
She is such a lovely young lady and did such a great job... I wish her all the best in the future...
Georgia decided to do a quilt, with chenille tree truck and 3D flowers..
And quilted it all herself...
